The Dave Ellis Blues Band
Making a welcome return to the U.K Pro Blues venue circuit after many years abroad, Sunday 29th May will see the first time appearance at the Hope of the Dave Ellis Blues band.
With the obvious restrictions on their East European tours, we get our chance to see the DEBB on home soil.
Dave Ellis first started playing guitar in the late 1970’s on hearing Jimi Hendrix and soon after chose the life of an independent traveling musician.
Since those early days he has toured, performed and taught guitar throughout the U.K, and eastern European countries in recent years including Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Belgium, Germany and Spain through to Chicago Illinois.
Acknowledged for authenticity and keeping the Blues spirit alive, Dave Ellis has built a reputation of a true journeyman musician, delivering live performances to the bigger festivals audiences, on tour, but is happy and playing intimate smaller club venues such as the Hope Tavern.
Currently enjoying living a quiet life back in the English countryside, Dave teaches guitar, is writing new songs and is now back on the road with his next musical adventure.

The power trio line up on the occasion will be made up by Jerzy Janik on Bass and Special Guest Drummer – Dave Reaburn.
The show starts at 4.30 and the door charge is £10.
