SHAKEDOWN BROTHERS

This week’s session welcomes back a band, who, for The past four years or so, have been touring Blues Pubs and Clubs across England, wowing audiences with a mix of blues originals, re-worked classics and lesser-known tunes by well-known artists, to great acclaim from audiences and promoters alike.

Since their last visit,​The Shakedown Brothers have developed a more focussed Blues-Rock oriented performance, delivered with expressive passion, energy and musical skill, to present a truly great blues experience.​​

The band, based in the Midlands, is made up of five seasoned musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds who have combined their talents to provide an energetic and eclectic programme of blues and blues/rock.

Shakedown Bothers fronted by ‘Slim’ Rick serve up a passion filled performance of self-penned tunes and lesser known songs from blues masters frand contemporary artists along with the occasional classics, from soulful Delta to full blown Blues- Rock with a funky feel thrown in. all played in the Shakedown style.
