Called in with Bailey our 3 year old cocker Spaniel as staying at Watermills Leisure Park . Friendly reception. I had a burger stack and he had a steak and brie pie. Bailey had 2 sausages! Food was really nice. Loved that Bailey's sausages came already cut up and cool enough for her to eat straight away.

I have been a customer of the Hope Tavern for many years. I have lunched there with my wife and often with friends. The service is excellent and friendly. The menu is varied but always good and I have tried most items on it. The landlord is an excellent chef. Yesterday I had salmon with new potatoes and asparagus as a main course. The starter was brie wedges and I finished with trifle as desert as this is one of my favourites. I highly recommend the Hope Tavern.

A great little find the pub/restaurant, it’s a proper pub, none of this chain lark, a great feel when you walk in, priced very well aswell, 3 cokes a carling pint, 2 packs of crisps £12 😀 the food smelt fantastic but we wasn’t eating as we was just stopped for a drink, definitely will next time we pass! Shut on Mondays though! Nice garden outside, few apple trees 🌳

A good traditional pub, if I lived local I’d be in there all the time 😃
