Lightning Threads

This Sunday’s gig sees the return to Tavern Blues of band, Lightning Threads, a three piece  made up Tom Jane (vox/guitar)  Sam Burgam (Vox/Bass)  Hugh Butler (Drums/Keys).

LIGHTNING THREADS  are a Blues-Rock power trio hailing from Sheffield, A Compelling power trio with an obsession and dedication to their music; embarking on bringing their flare and full force of Blues Rock & Roots to the scene.​ influenced by the great rock musicians of another time. Often compared to The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr.  Cream &  The Doors.

Since forming  2019, they have  headlined legendary venues such as THE LEADMILL and THE GREYSTONES, Sheffield.  As well as unforgettable festival appearances in front of thousands across the UK and supporting many of the Uk’s top blues acts at some of the UK’s best venues.​

Their music  regularly featured on BBC INTRODUCING with the single ‘Take a Mile’ hitting  #1 in the ITUNES BLUES CHART upon release in 2021.

With their Debut Album ‘OFF THAT LONELY ROAD’  now out in the world. There is a plethora of excitement building around the Trio.

From vocal melody styles of Chris Stapleton to the inspiring arrangements of legendary blues bands Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

With acclaim from the likes of BBC Introducing and announcements of big shows and tour dates there’s growing excitement building for Lightning Threads!!

The show starts at 4.30pm and the door charge is £12.
